Allied troops reviewing assault plans at a recent tactical event at Ft Campbell, KY.
The Tactical Studies Group, Inc. is a national parent organization that includes groups and units representing all the hostile parties involved in WWII, whether they be civilian reenactors or military combatants. TSG is governed by a Board of Trustees that has created by-laws, operating procedures and business practices for our members to follow as they pursue the enriching world of WWII historical reenacting. Our rules of operation can be found on our members proboard site http://tsginc.proboards98.com.
The TSG has registered our Articles of Incorporation with the State of Indiana as a Non-Profit Historical and Educational Organization.
In order to provide the best educational experience for our members as well as the general public, our goal is to use the most authentic uniforms, vehicles, weapons and field equipment available. When reenacting, we strive to make the events as historically accurate as possible, while maintaining strict safety and authenticity standards.

Members of TSG, Inc come from around the nation, but most are located in the Midwest. Doctors, construction workers, students, lawyers, firemen, current and retired military personnel and teachers are just some of the professions that comprise the diverse membership of TSG. Our members pursue many different historical aspects of WWII reenacting but share a common goal of keeping alive the memories of America's greatest generation and most importantly having fun doing it.
TSG, Inc serves as an 'umbrella organization' or as we refer to it in our reenacting world, a Parent Organization, for our member units who portray the various combatants and civilian impressions prevalent during WWII. As such, we provide insurance coverage for our membership at our sponsored events, rules and regulations that require our member units to adhere to specific safety and authenticity standards, a forum for discussion to further the hobby and historical education of our members and the general public.
Member units are the basic organizational groups that collectively comprise the TSG, Inc. As in every world conflict, there are multiple combatants and in the case of WWII these were the Allied and Axis forces. In order to reenact living history, we have units representing Allied forces, such as the 101st US Airborne and Axis forces, primarily the German army. These member units come together at our events to accurately portray a battle or event that impacted the outcome of the war. Details of all our member units, along with websites or address for each one can be found on our member ProBoard site: http://tsginc.proboards98.com/
Our organization is governed by an elected Board of Trustees who hold quarterly meetings to assess the status of the organization and conduct any necessary business, oversee the Financial Statements on a quarterly basis, vote on any expenditures over $500.00 and vote on the removal of any member from the organization for just cause.
